Overview

Comprehensive Emergency Lighting Testing for Safety and Compliance

Whether you manage offices, retail, schools, healthcare or industrial sites, our structured testing programme verifies that emergency lights operate when mains power fails and for their rated duration. We test, label, log and certify—then provide practical, prioritised remedials to close any gaps quickly.

Key-points

Visual Inspection

Each fitting, diffuser and legend checked for damage, cleanliness, correct symbols, and clear line-of-sight along escape routes.

Functional “Flick” Test (Monthly)

Simulate mains-failure via key switch/central test. Confirm each luminaire illuminates and charge indicators work. Record any failures.

Full Duration Test

Discharge test verifies batteries sustain illumination for the rated period. Identify weak batteries and end-of-life fittings.

Asset Register & Logbook

We create/update your laminated logbook and digital asset list with pass/fail status, locations, test dates and retest intervals.
